AP Painting & Decorating Terms & Conditions

Welcome to AP Painting & Decorating. We provide expert services across Weymouth, DT4, Portland, and Dorchester. These terms ensure a transparent relationship between us and our clients.

1. Services & Sub-Contracting
We provide professional painting and decorating as specified in your quote. We reserve the right to use qualified sub-contractors when necessary to maintain our high standards.

2. Quotes & Pricing
Our quotes are valid for 30 days. Prices are based on a visual inspection; if hidden issues arise during the project, we will discuss any necessary price adjustments with you before proceeding.

3. Deposits & Payments
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Final payment is due immediately upon completion of the project. For larger jobs, we may request staged interim payments.

4. Access to Property
Please ensure we have reliable access to the site during agreed working hours. This includes access to water and electrical power for tools and cleaning.

5. Preparation & Belongings
While we provide dust sheets, please move furniture, breakables, and electronics before we start. We cannot be held liable for damage to items left in the work area.

6. Changes & Extras
Any deviations from the original quote must be agreed upon in writing. Additional work will be charged at our standard hourly rate plus material costs.

7. Cancellations & Postponements
If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 7 days' notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a fee to cover lost earnings and pre-purchased materials.

8. Workmanship & Materials
We guarantee our labour for 12 months. Please note that we cannot guarantee against natural movement, pre-existing damp, or defects in materials provided by the customer.

9. Portfolio & Marketing
We love showing off our hard work. Unless you opt out, we may take 'before and after' photos of the project to use on our website and social media channels.

10. Health & Safety
We maintain a safe working environment. For everyone's safety, please keep children and pets away from the work zone, ladders, and professional chemicals at all times.

11. Complaints
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our work, please notify us within 48 hours so we can rectify the issue promptly.

12. Governing Law
These terms and any disputes arising from our services are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
